Why we built it
Getting the right photo should not take hours of trial and error.
As a traveler and parent of three, our founder kept running into the same problem: getting a passport photo ready meant hours of downloading software, resizing images, changing file types, and checking file sizes.
We wanted a way to check the original photo before paying for a file. That became PassportSnapper: a check first, then a print or digital file if the photo is ready.
Compliance first
We help you work with a real photo, not manufacture a better-looking one.
PassportSnapper checks and formats the original photo you provide. It does not retouch faces, replace backgrounds, apply filters, or make AI changes.
That approach follows the State Department's current guidance for paper and eligible online-renewal photos. The State Department, not PassportSnapper, makes the final acceptance decision.
